“Super Hi-Vision Camera” to Capture 8K Images of Mars in Upcoming Martian Moons Mission

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has partnered with Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) to develop a “Super Hi-Vision Camera.” This means that, for the first time in history, we’ll be able to see images of Mars and its moons in 8K. The MMX mission is the latest announcement of a set of initiatives linked to understanding and eventually colonizing Mars.
